社会工作学士 (荣誉) BASc(Hons)

The Bachelor of Social Work (Honours) programme is a four-year undergraduate programme designed to cultivate competent social workers equipped with professional knowledge, practical skills, and core social work values. Graduates will possess qualities such as adaptability, pragmatism, innovation, professional accountability, and empathy—enabling them to respond effectively to societal demands for social services. The programme is accredited by international social work professional bodies, and graduates are eligible to apply for registration as social workers with the Hong Kong Social Workers Registration Board. The programme comprises a total of 128 credit units, distributed as follows: - 66 credit units in the Social Work major (including the final-year dissertation and major electives); - 35 credit units in General Education courses; - 27 credit units in other elective courses. The overall curriculum balances professional training with holistic development, laying a solid foundation for students’ entry into the social work profession.
