This is a forward-looking, innovative undergraduate program designed to help students integrate and apply knowledge and skills to tackle complex real-world challenges. The program emphasizes personalized learning: students may flexibly select interdisciplinary courses based on their interests and goals, and undertake a self-directed inquiry project over four years—engaging directly with communities or industry frontlines under the guidance of faculty mentors and industry experts to authentically address and solve real problems. The program welcomes students from all academic backgrounds, especially two types of learners: first, those concerned with social issues who aspire to drive change through research, advocacy, art, entrepreneurship, or invention; and second, those seeking a personalized growth pathway who wish to achieve their developmental goals at their own pace and in their own way.
