The College of Engineering comprises eight academic units of instruction and research. These units offer programs of study and research leading to bachelor's, master's, and doctoral degrees. Some also offer programs in one or more subdisciplines or subspecialties.工程学院由八个教学和研究学术单位组成。这些单位提供获得学士、硕士和博士学位的学习和研究课程。有些还提供一个或多个子学科或亚专业的课程。The programs in engineering are designed to provide a fundamental understanding of the engineering sciences (which are based on mathematics and the natural sciences), of the basic concepts of the humanities and social sciences, and an understanding of the manner in which these elements are interwoven in engineering practice.
